Presidents Greeting

  •  Welcome to the Mizzou Greek Community! The University of Missouri is nationally known for our outstanding and well respected Greek system and we feel it is important to uphold that reputation in everything we do. With countless philanthropies, exceptional academics, and admirable leadership, our Greek members not only represent their individual chapters but the entire Greek community through their selfless involvement. Being a part of the Greek system at Mizzou is a life changing opportunity that I would encourage everyone to embark upon.

Philanthropic work is a genuine opportunity for students to get involved at Mizzou. Not only does each individual fraternity and sorority chapter host events, but the Panhellenic, Interfraternity, Multicultural and Pan-Hellenic Councils do as well. These events are open to the entire Columbia and surrounding communities and the volunteers we provide and funds we raise go towards numerous organizations in need. Across all organizations, we have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars each year. When everyone in the Greek community comes together to support each other’s philanthropy and selflessly volunteer endless hours, our members create long lasting memories while changing the lives of others. Our community’s dedication to philanthropy and service is what makes the Greeks at Mizzou stand above the rest.

Along with community service, we encourage high academic standards and opportunities to excel in leadership positions campus wide. The all-Greek GPA is continuously higher than the all-student average. Also, the all-sorority GPA is higher than the all-women's GPA. Members of our community also hold numerous leadership roles within a variety of organizations on campus.

Being a part of a Greek organization is an amazing opportunity at the University of Missouri. You will make lifelong friendships, memories, and have the chance to partake in countless opportunities. These are some of the best years of your life and being Greek enhances the experience.

Please take the time to look at our website and all that Panhellenic has accomplished and has to offer. If you have any questions regarding Recruitment, please feel free to contact the Greek Life Office at (573) 882-8291 or by email at PHArecruitment@missouri.edu
